I stopped reading Sandwich, as well, and for the same reasons as you. I didn’t care for Rocky’s parenting style among other things. And it had such a great storyline! Oh well…
Love hearing about DNF’S and I have had plenty lately. No qpologies!
Couple of thoughts…Sandwich turned up on my doorstop at the right time imo. I really disliked Rocky and found her frustrating but enjoyed the setting and some of the other characters. Looking back I could have easily skipped it.
I have read a number of these and didn't care for them either. I did like Lenny Marks and Someone in the Attic but think sometimes books that are not 5 star standouts have to be read at the right time or just skipped! Hey! I appreciate your secret episode!!! It helps and I'm sure most of us appreciate hearing your insights!
I loved this episode so much! We were on the same page for almost all of these except Lenny Marks.
I'm sure it was a me thing. I think I needed to book read it instead of audio.
Chloe brown is very open door and some of it was unnecessary imo. I still loved it though.

Thanks for this post! It’s so helpful!
We don't have to love all the books. It's also nice to know other people don't connect with the same books as me, makes me feel like it's not just me.

Good to know that skipping it would've been fine!
