There is a plethora of books out this Spring and I love it. I’ve opened up quite a few May books and in the podcast I share a non-spoiler synopsis, my star rating, and what I really thought about the book. My hope is that I give you enough information in a short review that it gives you enough information on if you want to buy the book, check out the book, or skip the book.
I knew I was forgetting a book when I recorded the podcast and as I was working on my images, I remembered! So here it is! Slipstream. I did not like the book. Contemporary Romance is how I would call it. We have a woman doing a video documentary about car racing. It started off strong but then devolved for me. What I got was no banter, no chemistry, and a slog of a book. 2 stars I’m sad to say.
